They are wild men, crawling and rolling all over the place. Here is what we have been up to!

Rachel got home from New Zealand!

We had a baby shower in Bethany for Elizabeth and Baby Girl Landgren who is coming in less than a month!

We spent the week before Thanksgiving in Shelbina preparing for Megan's wedding...

We Are 7 Months Old!

Jayce and Brody

And of course keeping busy.... Thanks to help from Grandma and Grandpa Price and Aunts (Megan, Elizabeth, Teresa) Brody and Jayce were able to attend Derek and Amanda's wedding and reception. They had a great time and partied into the night! Last weekend they got to take part in Megan and Zach's big move to their first house. We have a busy month ahead with Aunt Rachel returning from New Zealand, Megan and Zach's wedding shower, bachelorette/bachelor party, and the big day! I think they will be the cutest ring bearers ever. Also, we will be heading to Bethany one weekend for Aunt Elizabeth's baby shower!

6 MONTHS

BIG DOGS!

We went to the boy's doctor appointment. Here are their current stats.

Both boys are 28 inches long.

Both boys have 17.5 inch head circumference

Brody weighs 19.5 pounds

Jayce weighs 18 pounds

Their height is in the 90%!

They are rolling all over the place, scooting (on the verge of crawling), rolling over and over and over, and they both have two bottom teeth.

Today was a slightly sad day as we sold my "dream car"

I am okay with it and we are going to get a big SUV because we are needing the room!

This week has been busy. Jason is the Student Council Sponsor and it was Homecoming Week. Brody and Jayce took turns each night going with Jason to float building. Friday Brody, Jayce and I went to a Fish Fry for the Rehab Department. Grandma Linda and Aunt Teresa came with us to the Homecoming Game. Today we did the car stuff and hung out with Aunt Teresa and Uncle Jon. Tomorrow we are going to our last Royals game of the year!

Riviera Maya 2009

Jason and I were lucky enough to go on a long weekend to Mexico at the end of July. We drove up to Bethany with the a carful (boys and dogs and suitcases) on Wednesday night and flew out of KCI on Thursday morning. It was strange to be away from the boys, but I knew they were in good hands. We were able to call and check in a couple time. Jason and I packed a lot of stuff into the short time we were there. Our hotel was 1.5 hours from the Cancun airport so we didn't get there until 6:00 Thursday night. We ate at the buffet, had some drinks, and went swimming. Gotta love all inclusive. Friday we took the bus about a half hour south to Tulum to see some of the Mayan ruins. It was really neat; but super hot and humid. Luckily, there was a beautiful beach there to cool off. The beaches in Riviera Maya are GORGEOUS! Of all the places we have been in Mexico the water was definately the most beautiful there. We came back to the resort and had dinner at the Mediteranean Resturant and watched some of the resort entertainment. Saturday was our big day. We took a cab to Playa Del Carmen where we caught the ferry to Cozumel. We went snorkeling at two different reefs which we loved. Then they took us to eat at a Mexican resturant. We spent the afternoon shopping in Cozumel and at the smallest Hard Rock Cafe in the world (AIR CONDITIONING!) We took the ferry back to Playa Del Carmen for a little shopping and then headed back to the resort. Yes, we took advantage of all the resturants again and had some delicious steak. We decided to spend the final day on the resort. We hung out at the pool all morning, getting our share of the swim up bar. The afternoon we tried to go miniature golfing but the course was really hard and it was WAY to hot so we ended up on the beach until early evening when it started raining. We had supper at the Asian resturant and went back to pack up. We had a 6 am flight from the Cancun airport on Tuesday and the transportation picked us up at.....wait for it.....2:40 am. Insane. We made it back to KC by noon and Rhonda met us at Chilis with the boys and dogs at 1:00. We brought the boys back bibs and maracas which we are sure they love. We will probably have to break our four year streak of going to Mexico next year...we are thinking family vacay with the boys (and posssibly another family or two) 2010! Can't wait.

Christmas At The K, Brody and Jayce's First Royals Game

The boys are 4 months old we decided its about time they get to their first professional baseball game. We have been discussing this game since long before they were born so we were pretty excited. We had plenty of help and company with Aunt Megan and Uncle Zach and Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Laren along for the game. Of course we took lots of pics. We got to the game early and pushed the boys around the "New K" They were very excited and looking around everywhere. We got certificates for attending their first game, a "special gift" (Royals pennant) because they are members of the Blue Crew (Dad signed them up when they were only hours old), pictures with Santa Claus and a snow man, Royals stockings for the whole family, and Dad and Zach managed to get the boys balls from batting practice. We hope to get them signed during FanFest next year. Also, importantly the Royals won!

4 months old!!!

Jayce Brody

July 24, 2009

Our little studs turned four months old. They are doing great! We went to see Dr. Snell and he said they are both right around the 50%. Brody was 16 pounds, Jayce was 15 pounds 6 ounces and they are both 24.5 inches long. Amazing how fast they grow! They are good babies and are starting to form their own little personalities. They love to play on the floor under the play gym, be tickled and talk to, and to swing. They are smiling, laughing and cooing which is pretty fun. They are always swinging their arms in front of themselves and kicking their legs while they are laying on the floor. They're definately active little guys. They are also drooling and sucking on their hands, so teeth are on the way! They go to bed about 9:30. We started doing cereal before bed this week. On a good night they will both make until 5:00 or 6:00 a.m. But, sometimes Jayce will wake up around 3:00 or 4:00 a.m. After a bottle, they go back to sleep for a couple more hours.
This was a few weeks ago. It's pretty cute.

JUNE UPDATE-3 MONTHS!

JUNE UPDATE!

June 24,2009-3 months old! To celebrate we packed up and headed to Lees Summit to get pictures taken. We got a family shot and lots of pics of the boys. We had to wake Jayce up to take the pics and he was pretty hungry so we went fast but ended up with some pretty good ones. We have been pretty busy in the month of June. Of course, we like to stay busy going here and there so they boys are pretty used to travel and get to see lots of people. Memorial Day weekend we hung out in Shelbina. We visited Grandma Moore's, went to Kyler's graduation banquet, and had family barbeques among other things. June 4 was Jason and I's four year anniversary. He made me shrimp and steak and it was delicious. The next day Jason and Rhonda headed for Texas for a few days to visit his Grandpa Polley. I was lucky to have help from Grandma Linda, Aunt Elizabeth, and Aunt Rachel on the nights Jason was gone as the boys were still getting up every three hours at that point. June 13th Aunt Rachel turned 21 and we were right there as part of the celebration! Brody and Jayce came with everyone to TGI Fridays for supper but were too young for the rest of the night! It was my first night spent away from the boys as we spent the night celebrating. Brody and Jayce were in good hands at Marilyn and Michael's and were under the watch of Marilyn, Grandpa Greg, Michaela and Ryan. The following weekend we went to Bethany on Thursday night to celebrate Jason's first Father's Day. We were going to take the boys swimming in Grandma Rhonda's pool but it was rainy. Brody and Jayce got Jason a new push mower for Father's Day! That weekend was the Royals-Cardinals series which we go to every year. Next year we will take Brody and Jayce but this year Grandma Linda came to Clinton to hang out with the boys while we got a break (at the 95 degree games-definately too hot for babies.) We went Saturday with Jon and Sarah and Phil and Sunday with Megan and Zach. The Royals lost all three games. They won all three last year and we were hoping for the same but no such luck. Ohh well. Believe it or not we are staying in Clinton this weekend! Aunt Megan, Uncle Zach, and Aunt Rachel came down Thursday night to stay the night and hand out with their favorite boys before heading to a float trip this weekend. (We are Piper sitting) We had a "pool party" The boys are naturals in the water (of course). Tonight we are going to the Ritter's for poker night so the boys will get to hang out with Madelynn, Conner, and Anna and tomorrow is a BBQ at Uncle Jon's.

These past couple weeks the boys have been sleeping better. Brody seems to be the better sleeper making it 5-6 hours after he first goes to bed and then up again 2 or 3 hours later. Jayce varies anywhere from 3-5 hours. I went back to working three days a week after two months of maternity leave (and 7 weeks of bedrest....aurggghh...) and work is going great. We are lucky Jason is a teacher and is able to stay home with the boys on the days I am at work this summer. They will start going to the babysitter when school starts and then in September I will start working four days a week. Memorial Day Weekend
