Brody LOVES to get stickers for going potty!
Price Twins in their pajamas from Uncle Tom

This Christmas looks to be the best yet! The boys are fully in the "Christmas Mode"  They have learned the story of baby Jesus.  Jayce even wrapped himself in a towel one day and told me he was Baby Jesus! Cute.  They love watching all the Christmas shows on TV and get excited when they see Santa. However, they still refuse to sit on Santa's lap.  They will give him a five now, so we are getting closer! We had our Thanksmas celebration and they are very excited to open presents, even if they are for someone else.  Christmas pics to follow!

Getting candy!

Last weekend, at the last minute, I decided me and the boys would make a little trip to Shelbina. ( Jason had work to do at home) I don't get there as often as I would like, and realized we just may be able to make it work. I was totally excited to find out it was Farmer's Day. I hadn't been in years and I knew the boys would love to see the parade and I would have a chance to let them hang out downtown Shelbina when there were actually people there! Plus, I am a multitasker...we wanted to make it to Grandma and Grandpa Moore's and finally we had a wedding to attend (well, I did...the boys hung with Pa Pa until the reception) We had 24 hours to make this happen. I might mention I had to be back to the Lake by 10:00 Sunday so that I could catch a ride to Joplin for a baby shower. But, I am always up for showing off my little studs and this seemed like a good opportunity. So, yes, this was a pretty ambitious little trip, but we were up for it! The boys loved the parade, especially the tractors. We watched the parade with Pa Pa, Aunt Shell, and Cousin Amber. The boys ate hot dogs and drank lemonade uptown. Then, we went to Grandma and Grandma Moore's to visit and hang out. For those of you who don't know, I have the perfect Grandparents. They are the most in love couple I know, even after all these years. Grandma loves babies and cooking, Grandpa is hard working and always wants to know what is going on in your life, and they are both ready for a hug the second you hit the back porch. It was great to see them, and I am so grateful Brody and Jayce are able to know them. The boys and Dad stayed over there while I went to the wedding with Mom, Gary, Megan and Zach. The wedding was sweet, especially when the bride, groom, and his little boy and girl all poured sand into a vase. You could tell the whole family loved eachother! Dad and the boys came to the wedding reception. Brody and Jayce loved the food. They danced and had a good time. They met another set of twin boys and thought that was pretty neat. Before they left they even kissed the bride! Not bad! I stayed and visited with some old friends I hadn't seen in a long time and was home and in bed by 10:45 and off to the lake by 7:15 the next morning. On the drive back I felt great. I was trying to figure out why. I decided a trip home was just what I needed. Corny, but chicken soup for the soul!

Happy 2nd Birthday to my not-so babies!

Brody and Jayce turn two on March 24 but we had a little gathering for family and some Clinton friends on Sunday. The boys had a really good time. They enjoyed their Chiefs cake and got some really fun presents. The weather was perfect.
We went together with all the grandparents to get the boys 4 wheelers, which they loved! This is Brody on the blue 4 wheeler.
Jayce with a crazy birthday hair do

What makes my studs so much fun right now....

*Although we aren't quite ready to potty train....when I am changing one boys diaper the other one watches, says,"eww!" then takes the dirty diaper to the diaper champ and even turns it over to dispose of the diaper....pretty cool
*They are really into picking up. If they walk into a room and there are clothes or shoes out, they put them in a drawer. Gotta love that!
* They make "guns" out of their legos and point at the deer head and say "bang, bang!"
* Their favorite pastimes are riding on my back and playing ring around the rosy
* They have figured out how to take down the baby gait
* They like to randomly take their pants off
* Their favorite food is fruit....and twizzlers
*They like to share...Last week Brody picked his nose and put the booger in my nose..LOL

2 x 2 = CRAZY

Our little monkeys
Getting the house ready to sell!
New Kitchen

Well between getting our house up for sale, looking for a new job, and looking for a new place to live we have been pretty busy. Jason’s principal contract starts July 1 so we have to get going on this stuff. I am such a planner it is driving me crazy but the first step is to try to get our house sold. We had a list of all the things we wanted to complete before we felt our house was ready and we somehow checked almost the whole list off. Good feeling, just hoping the hard work pays off. It is scary to try to sell a house right now but I must say our house looks the best it has ever looked! I wish we would have done the kitchen a few years ago so I could enjoy it a little longer! Anyways, the realtor came this week and we have our first showing today. It is going to be a challenge to keep the house clean but we will do our best.

Of course this time of the year is busy anyway, so I was ready for the time change! I feel like I can get so much more done in an evening, which helps. We are having a small birthday party for immediate family and Clinton friends this weekend so I have also been trying to get ready for that. We are so excited about the joint present Jason and I and the grandparents got the boys! They are going to love it, pics to come!

Well, we had a wonderful holiday season again! Not a weekend to spare in December but we like it that way so we will take it. The Price fam made it to all seven Christmases again this year! The boys are professional gift openers by now. Regardless of trying prevent them from becoming completely rotten, I am afraid they now own almost every toy known to "nearly" two year olds. Ohh well. Here is the Christmas Breakdown.

2-Grandma Polley in Bethany
3-Grandma and Grandpa Price in Bethany
4-Our house in Clinton

These fun celebrations were followed up with a New Years Party and Megan and Zach's and then Laina's first birthday party. Here is to a busy and Happy 2011!
